I have more than 25 years experience in handling personal injury claims. Most of my Clients come to me directly or they have been referred to me by former Clients or other professionals. I do not pay insurance or claims management companies to refer Clients to me.

I find it very important to meet with my clients in person, obtaining their own first-hand account of their accident and resulting problems. People are often unaware of the full extent of their injuries and, in particular, a psychological injury is easily overlooked. Many people are also unaware of the full extent of their financial losses and what exactly they may claim for.


Unfortunately, this kind of attention to detail and meeting with the client, which is especially vital in complex cases or when liability is denied, is something other legal providers dealing with large volumes of claims may not always offer. Many of my Clients come to me after becoming frustrated with other legal services. In some cases, I have also managed to obtain much larger settlements than they were previously offered.


While insurance companies and various helplines may try to force upon you their own panel solicitors who are often based many miles away from where you live, it is important to realise that you are not obliged to accept this. You have the right to choose your own solicitor. Ultimately, the outcome of your claim will depend on the experience of the individual who is handling your claim and this is true regardless of the size of the organisation.


Some insurance companies may also make you an early offer in settlement of your claim encouraging you not to seek legal advice. Their duty is to their stakeholders and to guard their profits. You should never settle your claim without legal advice as you may seriously under-value your claim. Any settlement will be final and you will not be able to re-open it.
